Underwater massage
The underwater and whirling massage bath tub VOD 56 is used for massage treatment of the whole body or of its parts, using underwater application of water stream by massage jet mounted on hose. This type of massage produces mechanical and thermal effects. Adequate bath and water stream temperature causes muscle relaxation. Water stream pressure results in relative heat-up of muscles, with both neural and metabolic effects applied. This type of massage is used in treatments of post-traumatic states, muscle and joint injuries, insufficient blood circulation in extremities, ischialgia, spastic and atonic polio and obesity.
VOD 56 belongs to the classic series of underwater massage bath tubs. Exeptional large volume of the water is suitable also for patients with higer body mass. The dimensions enable extraordinary space for underwater massge.
Powerful massage with 450kPA pressure provides very efficient massage effect. The bath tub VOD 56 is supplied with two level step.
